Promoting Healthy Kids
This award-winning Hospital publication reaches over 9,000 students (K-5) throughout Wayne County and is distributed three times a year. A collaborative effort between Wayne Memorial Hospital and Wayne County Public Schools, Kids’Page addresses relevant issues from childhood obesity and online safety to ADHD and the importance of family meals. A vibrant, fun publication, Kids’Page features a young hip doctor called “Doc Wayne” who explains everything from “brain freeze” to the definition of Nephrology.
The Blue Ribbon Award for Kids’Page!
Recognized for promoting healthy kids, the Kids’Page publication was honored with the Blue Ribbon Award by the North Carolina School Public Relations Association in 2010.
