Changes to the Emergency Department's physical layout and procedures have smoothed the treatment process for the 45,000 patients who are seen annually -- both for minor injuries and major trauma. The specially trained team of registered nurses and support staff work together with the physicians and physician assistants from Goldsboro Emergency Medicine to provide customer-focused care and compassion. The Emergency Department serves Wayne County and surrounding areas.
